Choreographic Interlink (ICI) was formed as a rethink button on working methods and assumptions sorely in need of reimagining. Starting in September 2020, Toronto-based dance artists Andrea Nann, Heidi Strauss, and Michael Caldwell have engaged in monthly conversations with Taipei-based artists Fangas Nayaw, Pin-Wen Su, Wu-Kang Chen, and producer Wen Huang. ICI extends farther into local and international relationship building, the cultivation of experimental practices, research and exploration into new digital and hybrid methods and models for artistic creation, exchange, and collaboration.
